 Handmade in Portland w/ Ms. Davis   July 11-15

Create amazing handcrafted projects to take home all morning, hike and adventure in SW portland in the afternoons.  Needle and thread, felt and yarn! Unleash your creative beast!

Moving Picture Books w/ Ms. Antonella  July 11-15

Following “A Gnome’s Summer Adventures” puppet show, we will make movable picture books inspired by our story.  We will have outdoor adventures, explore nature, and more!

Circus Arts w/ Nomadic Theater Co. July 18-22

Clowning, juggling, unicycle, acrobatics, rolling globe, stilts, theatre games, dance and imagination! Enjoy group challenges and individual skills. Create a Circus variety show. The Friday performance is open to family and friends.

Animals on the Move w/ Ms. Gemela  July 18-22

Find your power animal and teach it some new tricks. Tackle the obstacle course and make animal masks. Indoor and outdoor fun and adventure.

Drawing and Storytelling w/ Mr Wooton July 25-29

Spend the week learning the skills and techniques of cartooning and graphic storytelling. Make mini comics and complete pages in our newest edition of the “Out of our minds!” comics compilation. Spend the afternoon, exploring the SW area and sketching the beautiful world around us. Trips to the fountain and a tram ride are part of the fun.  Each student is provided with a sketchbook and drawing supplies.

Hola Amigitos! w/ Ms. Cecelia July 25-29

Come enjoy a week filled to the brim with Ms. Cecelia enjoying the latino culture.  We will be making fresh, home made foods (please notify Ms. Cecelia with food allergies or sensitivities) and engaged in making fun filled pinatas to complete the week end with a fiesta!


Magic in Nature w/ Ms. Antonella August 1-5

We will make gnomes, fairies, and more. Using nature’s bounty, we will make outdoor gnome homes and fairy houses for these little friends and we will enjoy the summer sun!

Gnomes in the City w/ Ms. Farrell Aug 1-5

Plenty of outside play, theater, dances and games with one of our experienced grades teachers. Daily crafting, and even some cooking!

Strings Camp w/ Ms. Bright & Boris Popadiuk Aug 1-5

Practice stringed instruments in an ensemble . Learn some new songs. Half day option. Ms. Bright & Boris Popadiuk for cello instruction. Our daily rhythm will include singing and movement, outdoor time to listen to nature, theory through games and practical experience as well as lots of playing our instruments.


This camp is for grades 4th – 7th:

  • Beginners
  • Intermediate students that want to refresh their basic skills and
  • Advanced players that wants some ensemble music and performance experience.

 Music in the Air w/ Ms. Cecelia Aug 8-12

This week we will explore the different varieties of percussion music, accompanied with dancing and singing.  We will complete the week with a fantastic percussion jam

Lego and Engineering w/  Mr Wooton Aug 8-12

Work together to plan and build bridges, towers, and catapults. Use the Lego robotics kits to construct motorized arms to solve challenges on the Lego robotics table. Create a landing system for an egg launched from a water rocket!  Afternoon adventures include trips to the fountain and bridges.
