A creative, community-centered program for homeschoolers

We’re excited to extend our love of learning to the wider community through our Homeschool Partnership Program. This series invites homeschool students to join us on campus for hands-on, creative classes led by experienced Cedarwood teachers. Rooted in Waldorf Education, the program offers children a chance to explore the arts, connect with peers, and experience the warmth and rhythm of our school. Join two beloved Cedarwood Waldorf School instructors for weekly engaging enrichment classes. This nine-week series is designed especially for homeschool students in Grades 1–5 and is separate from our regular enrolled grades programming. Parents are welcome to stay and observe or drop off students.

Each week, students engage in creative movement and fun improvisational theater games with Mr. Zimmerman from 9:00-10:00, and explore the craft of fiber arts with Maestra Silvia from 10:00-11:15.

In this fall season's theater workshop, we will explore a storytelling style that uses exaggerated gestures and body movements to express feelings, thoughts, and dialogue. Fueled by the imagination and ideas of our young actors, we will devise a presentation that features their own handmade masks!
