Cedarwood School brings Waldorf education to life and strives to instill a love for learning. Our curriculum weaves together the arts, academics and movement, with a reverence for the developing child. We nurture our children’s spirituality, cultivate their ability to think imaginatively and inspire them to seek the truth.

Dedicated to teaching to meet the needs of the developing human being, we provide comprehensive curriculum that evolves with our students to inspire a true love of learning, cultivate imagination, thinking and discovery.

Cedarwood Waldorf School is a fully accredited member of the Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS), the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) and the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America (WECAN).

Girls in grades 6 through 8 are invited—and encouraged—to attend the GirlStrength Workshop on Wednesday, March 21, at 3:30 pm in the seventh-grade classroom.

On March 19, the 3rd grade class will be making welcome boxes to donate to Embrace Oregon. Embrace Oregon is a local non-profit that works with DHS to support vulnerable children and families. They will be collecting donation items for the boxes, and wish to extend this to the greater Cedarwood community.

Early Childhood

Early childhood at Cedarwood provides children with a comfortable space to explore, play and enjoy childhood.

Grades 1-8

Cedarwood is a unique educational experience that rewards students with the gift of the joy of learning.

Our strong community is filled with parents that volunteer their time, children that put ownership into their school and a faculty that returns the love in spades.
