Welcome to Cedarwood

For families in the Cedarwood community, we have gathered many of the resources you will need to successfully enjoy life at Cedarwood. Here you will find Parent Handbooks, carpooling information, current health information, and more.

Please revisit the Parent Handbook for Early Childhood and the Parent Handbook for Grades each year. They are updated annually and always reflect subtle changes in our operating procedures and policies as well as the upcoming festivals and information on our Annual Appeal.

Cedarwood Waldorf School strives to nurture, support, and develop a vibrant Waldorf community. Our Direct Communication Policy seeks to support the achievement of this goal by providing a transparent and consistent process for resolving grievances.

Our community is filled with wonderful small business owners. These businesses range from Professional Services, Retail, Health & Wellness and more. Visit our Cedarwood Business Directory, and if you would like to be included in this listing, please reach out to Paul Sardoch.

We are excited to introduce SchoolPool, a new resource that helps families coordinate carpooling with other families who live near them. Oregon offers this free carpooling website that allows schools to create networks of families who can find each other via an easy-to-use visual map feature. SchoolPool is only as informative as our families make it by adding their information and participating in carpools. Carpools help build a community around the children and a healthier environment for all.

Our 2023-2024 Cedarwood school year Health Information has been updated to reflect current trends. Cedarwood Waldorf School monitors local healthcare conditions and will communicate any changes to programming directly with families.

To access your Educate account, please log in with your credentials. Cedarwood uses TADS to contact families/guardians in case of absences, school closures, incidents, and any emergencies. Please keep your phone number(s) and email address(es) current.

If you would like to volunteer at Cedarwood, all volunteers are required to provide a signed background check form to the front office. Please allow for a minimum of 30 DAYS prior to the date in which you wish to volunteer for processing. The forms are sent to the Oregon Department of Education for verification and Cedarwood does not influence the timing of this process.
