Calling all Cedarwood students in grades 1-5— don’t be a Couch Potato! Join us for an “a-peeling”, unforgettable four-day break camp, where adventure, creativity, fun, and potatoes await around every corner! Led by the dynamic and super popular substitute teacher, Leah Arkills-Mclain, this camp is designed to ignite your imagination and unleash your inner artist, chef and scientist. Look forward to exciting hands-on activities, exploration, cooking, science experiments and movement…. all around the irresistible theme of POTATOES!

Never underestimate the potato! How many different things can YOU think of to do with a potato? Here are some of my ideas:

• Each day of camp we will make a different and delicious potato snack! mashed potatoes? potato soup? french fries? what else??

• Potato stamped bandanas!

• Potato science experiments, can you turn a potato into a battery??

• Planting potatoes in the garden (as Feb is the perfect time)!

• Making, playing with, and eating potato play dough!

• Making real Mr. Potato Heads!

• Outside Potato Tag!?

** Please note: This camp will occur dependent on the number of sign-ups. If we do not have sufficient enrollment by the registration deadline, we will need to cancel the camp. Registration deadline is Jan. 16th. If you are interested, please sign up as soon as possible. Thank you so much!

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 1 month prior to the start of camp will receive a 100% refund, 2 weeks prior will receive a 50% refund, and after 2 weeks before the first day of camp will receive a 25% refund. A 3% refund fee is charged for processing. No refunds are made once camp has begun. Camp needs a minimum of 7 campers to run.
