Grade 5th/6th GIRLS Volleyball Skill Building
Wednesdays, 3:00-4:30
April 8 - June 3
Coached by Kelly Marcin
Cedarwood Gym
Come explore volleyball! This after-school class helps 5th and 6th grade girls build core volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, hitting, and more) through fun drills, modified games, and plenty of movement. Players will strengthen coordination, awareness, and teamwork in a positive, progress-focused environment full of play.
What makes this experience unique is that the class will draw on principles of NeuroMovement® (a brain and movement based learning modality) to help players move with greater efficiency, precision, and ease as they build their volleyball skills. And, as a bonus, it will naturally support sharper focus, improved coordination, and overall brain development!
Open to both beginners and those with experience.
Coach Kelly has played volleyball since 6th grade, competing on youth clubs, high school varsity, and on her college's club team. She’s coached a few youth volleyball teams, and now as a NeuroMovement® practitioner she’s excited to bring mindful movement into her coaching. She has a 5th grade daughter at Cedarwood!
