Cedarwood Gym
Come explore volleyball! This after-school class helps 7th & 8th graders build core volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, hitting, and more) through fun drills, modified games, and plenty of movement. Players will strengthen coordination, awareness, and teamwork in a positive, progress-focused environment full of play.
Open to both beginners and those with experience.
Ms. Mackenzie has played volleyball since 6th grade, competing on youth club teams, high school varsity, and for Lewis and Clark College. She’s coached youth volleyball camps, junior varsity teams, and 5th through 7th grade volleyball when teaching at Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor. Mackenzie believes that her involvement in the sport helped form who she is today. She strives to coach in a way that guides blossoming athletes to become adaptable, resilient, and confident.
