6th, 7th & 8th Grade Spring Ultimate Frisbee Practice

Note: This is the sign-up for Grades 6, 7 & 8 Ultimate Frisbee Monday & Thursday Skill Building Practices at Cedarwood. To ALSO play in the optional Portland Ultimate Frisbee League weekend games, you must also sign up with the league. (see link below)

Milan Cole, Merriah Fairchild, Jeff Young and Marcy Holsinger will coach the weekly ultimate frisbee practices. Mr. Sebastian will be coaching the games! The time will focus on building new skills and techniques and will be lots of fun!

Ultimate practices will take place at Duniway Park Track and Field. At dismissal, the group will meet near the SA Hall and walk to practice together. If you need to pick up your student early, you must meet them at the park to locate the group and then gather their belongings at school. The team will return to Cedarwood by 4:45 p.m. to check out before heading home.

Your student is welcome to sign up and participate solely in ultimate frisbee practices at Cedarwood. Signing up for the league and playing in the Sunday games is optional.

If you are interested in participating in the Portland Ultimate Frisbee League games, we ask that you commit to attending games every weekend. There is an additional registration fee for each child interested in participating in the league games.

Cedarwood Psychic Goats League Games:

📅 Game Dates: Sundays, April 12 – June 7 (No games on May 24 – Memorial Day Weekend)
⏰ Time: 12:00-2:00 PM
📍 Location: Lents Park (Pending permit approval)

*Sign up for the 6th/7th team (8th graders may join this team as well).

Game format: 20 min halves with a 5 min halftime.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to participate fully in a fun and safe manner, we are asking that all students bring the following to all practices and games:

• cleats

• athletic wear

• water bottle
