Cedarwood Early Childhood Summer Camps:
Hummingbird (ages 3-5) and Meadowlark (ages 5-7)
Camp Time:
8:30am - 3:00pm
Summer is even sweeter with Cedarwood’s Early Childhood Camps, where young children can experience the magic of Cedarwood in a relaxed and playful setting. Days are filled with singing, crafting, storytelling, and plenty of outdoor fun, all designed to nourish your child’s creativity and coordination. Modeled after Cedarwood’s early childhood rhythm, this camp is perfect for little ones who love gentle structure and big adventures.
For children ages 3 to 7, this is the perfect way to enjoy summer with a dash of Cedarwood magic.
Camps are held the following 6 weeks:
Hummingbird (ages 3-5) and Meadowlark (ages 5-7)
Session 1: June 22-26

Session 2: July 6-10
Hummingbird: Rivers! with Teacher Thora
Meadowlark: The Sea with Teacher Jasmine
Session 3: July 13-17
Hummingbird: Art Camp with Teacher Miriam
Meadowlark: Summer Magic with Teacher Abra
Session 4: July 20-24
Hummingbird: Ocean World with Maestra Silvia
Meadowlark: Berries! with Teacher Abra
Session 5: July 27-31
Hummingbird: Bugs! with Teacher Thora
Meadowlark: All about Plants with Teacher Miriam
Session 6: Aug. 3-7
Hummingbird: Creatures with Teacher Thora
Meadowlark: Sunshine with Teacher Jasmine

CEDARWOOD CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY FOR 2026:
Parent Cancellations:
Cancellation of more than 3 months prior to the start date of that camp receives a full refund.
Cancellation 3 months prior to the start date of that camp receives a 50% refund.
Cancellation 2 months prior to the start date of that camp receives a 25% refund.
Cancellation 1 month or less prior to the start date of that camp receives NO REFUND.
Cedarwood Cancellations:
Cedarwood will issue a full refund for a program or camp canceled by the school. Any cancellation of a camp by Cedarwood will take place at least two weeks in advance of the camp start date. A camp may be canceled if there are fewer than 10 students enrolled.
Camps may also be canceled due to high heat or poor air quality. In the case of poor air quality due to wildfires, camps will be closed for the day if the air quality is rated 151 or higher (unhealthy) by 6:30 a.m. and there is reason to believe it will remain so for a substantial portion of the day.
